Chaos and Calm Project

The brief that was written for the Chaos and Calm project -

Chaos and Calm is the project that I have chosen to push me out of my comfort zone and create work that adds something new to my portfolio. I love the idea that shadows and light will influence my work rather than physical objects, it has given me the chance to focus on how I use colour and minimalistic strokes rather than focusing on pattern and mark making.

Weight, texture, and transparency were all factors that were continually pushed and investigated during this project. Paper yarns and basic knit structures all came together to create interesting work that pushed the way the work was made.
